P D Shylendra, a native of Bangalore, is a local businessman and philanthropist who founded the Saradev Eye Hospital in memory of his parents, Saraswati and P.S. Devadas, ( Advocate ) and his grandfather, Dr. P.R. Subba Rao. His son Prithvi Shylendra and daughter Priyanka Shylendra firmly stand by his long-term vision.
Dr. Subba Rao was one of Bangalore's first eye surgeons and a former director at the Minto Eye Hospital.
Shylendra's desire to serve the underprivileged members of society led him to establish the Saradev Eye Hospital. The hospital aims to provide quality eye care to a large number of patients, including those living in remote areas, by taking eye care to the community's doorsteps. This approach is based on the premise that world-class eye care should reach the highest volume of patients possible.

Mrs. Jyothi Deepak in Saradev Eye Hospital plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the facility with her rich experience of over 25 years in Ophthalmic health care. Her responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities, overseeing staff, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. She also coordinates patient services, handle financial management, and implement policies to improve patient care and hospital efficiency. Additionally, she works closely with medical professionals to support the delivery of high-quality ophthalmic care and manage resources effectively to meet the needs of both patients and staff. Her main aim is to maintain high hospital standards in achieving hospital’s mission.
Dr. Rachana Shivaram is the Chief of Medical Services in Saradev Eye Hospital who holds a pivotal leadership position, responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. She is committed to provide strategic direction for medical services, lead medical staff, and implement clinical policies and protocols. She is dedicated in collaborating with other healthcare professionals to advance medical practices, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
